Yeah so... I've been trying my hand at this Pony craze- been drawing up Ponies left and right. Let me just say this: Those freaking ponies are deceptively hard to draw... They seem like just a bunch of simple shapes...but then WHAM!- S- Curve! WHAM! Fake Horse Anatomy. WHAM! Joints that fade in and out when they want. And a perpetually morphing face. Yeah. They're no joke, but I think I'm starting to get them down somewhat. You be the judge. I'll dump some in my scrap book and you can tell me if they're ok or not. Right now I'm messing with different positions of their body--I want to be able to manipulate them rather easily. Once I get

Yeah so...       To say it's been a while is an understatement. Really, I don't know what I'm trying to prove. Oh wait I do:  Nothing. Just want to give it another go, see if I can accomplish something for a change. I've been drawing a lot lately, been seeing a lot of improvement...starting to feel a bit more confident in myself.        Been going to a website--drawingtutorialsonline.com-- its been refining me from the ground up. Alright....so its been forever but I'm going to do this. I'm going to actually USE this Journal. It's kinda crazy but I've had it for like 3 years and never once wanted to put ANYTHING in it. But what the heck. So starting from today all musings, sketches, WIPS and finished products will be swiftly documented. I need some therapy. Seriously EDIT: So apparently in order to post thumbnails in your journal, you have to be a subscriber...that's the kind of information that would be nice to know ahead of time. Either way, as soon as I drop the 30$ I AM gonna post daily and I WILL follow through. I'm tired of not finishing what i started.
